Petaluma here we come!

Hello Everyone!

How are you? We are doing great! We have taken our camper on her first maiden voyage! Petaluma here we come!

We went to the KOA in Petaluma.  It was so much fun! The KOA was so nice & clean.  The staff was amazing! They had a petting zoo for the kids, pool & spa, laundry room, nice sites, hot showers and wild peacocks.  There were also some really cute cabins you could rent and even bigger homes and tent camping spots too.  Something for everyone!

We did venture out of the KOA to meet my sister, her son & husband to go to a Space Museum and to see the Hamilton Base & Museum.  It was a blast!

But we had so much fun at the KOA we didn’t do a lot of exploring in Petaluma.  So I guess we will have to go back! YAY! I would like to get some great pictures of the buildings and homes in Petaluma and add them to my new project.

I’m starting a project where I go to awesome towns all over California and take pictures of their homes & buildings that have really neat lines and illustrate them.  Then I will add those illustrations and pictures to my Blog & Etsy shop.  I think it will be a lot of fun and a great way to explore California with my kids.

Let me know what you think!

How do your explore your home state or country?
