How was your March? Ours was very busy! But one really fun thing we did was to go to the 2nd Sat Art Hop in Sacramento… My older son Liam and I met up with his Grandpa Bill and we walked all over! It was a blast!
I always park by a landmark of sorts so I can remember where I parked my car after a long fun evening of walking all over Midtown. This time we parked by Lumens. That place is so amazing! We took some pictures for you to see and they had a variety of really cool items with nice lines.
We walked all the way down “K” street to Old Town… and toodled around and shopped a bit. My son Liam loves to shop! Lol… he can go shopping for hours. He found a great shop that had a lot of Dr. Who stuff and he was ecstatic. Then we came across this neat used book store called ….. Time Tested Books on 1114 21st Street. It was one of the best bookstores I have been in, in a long time. It had a great set up and smelled of old books and leather. They had placed odd eclectic chairs here and there tucked into neat little corners for you to plop down into and read until your hearts content.
I found a couple of Murder She Wrote books… YAY Me!!! I collect those and old Nancy Drew books. :o) Can’t wait to come back again.
So we headed back to Midtown to have dinner at Crepeville. My favorite! I always say I am going to try a new one but then I get there an I just have to get the Florentine Crepe. Ha Ha… I talked Grandpa Bill into it this time and he loved it! My son did the same thing and picked his favorite…. chocolate and strawberry crepe.
Then it was time to head home. What a fun evening with Liam and Bill… Making memories.
